Suggestion: Share Links

And yes, they are two different ideas. I mainly put up to hear your thoughts on it, please do share!

About the what and why:
$eStunt recently posted a journal asking for Thoughts on Image Protection, to go along with his Image Protection Idea.
Basically, it prevents sharing an image by posting the direct link to the image rather than that to the deviation - when you right click, another menu appears (which I also used here for the left hand side suggestion, thanks $eStunt for putting it under Creative Commons!) which gives you the copyright information and share link.
I like the idea but some people had issues with it, mostly because they'd have to miss the normal right click features.

That's what inspired this suggestion, which makes it easier to share in an earlier stage; when still viewing the thumb! This means a pencil icon appears to all thumbs, everywhere (+www, their gallery, etc), not just your own.
Please do share your opinion on the suggestion!
