Seniority Announcements - January 2013
This article marks the latest additions to the dizzy height of Senior members in our community. With just over 1000 deviants holding the highly saught after ` -- it's clearly a moment that deserves recognition.

So what does it take to become a Senior? That's a question many have asked and have never really been able to get a straight answer on. Some have gained Seniority as a thank you for their time spent as a Volunteer, or to recognise their contribution to a particular project or collaborative action. Some have gained Seniority because of their community spirit, providing help and assistance to many other deviants and taking time out to promote the work of others in the community.

   As 2012 kicks off with fireworks around the world, we're also celebrating in style with the

latest addition to the recipients of the illustrious Deviousness Award.

   
Comment Contest - Winner!Almost 100 people participated in my Comment Contest :la: Thanks so much for all your enthusiasm, I hope you all enjoyed taking part. I can definitely tell that many did, judging by the comment counts I saw going up. Within the week you got to participate, about half of you increased your comment count by hundreds, and 5 participants even made more than 1,000 comments!
These deviants were `Infinite-Heart, `Nyiana-Sama, ~DeviMonster, *L0NE-W0lf and *Choco-Bunni. Well done all and thank you for your enthusiasm :clap:

Everyday we're CV'ingAs a Community Volunteer - I do as much or as little within the community that I feel comfortable doing. We're not pressured to do this and that, we don't even have to give a Daily Deviation every day, we choose how we promote our selected galleries/chats and forums and we're not fixed to any specific rule on how much or how little we do. But I do believe that it's important to share with you just what the community volunteers do and why we do it. More importantly it's so easy to get lost on this site full of many people - and miss out on the awesome that's going on. So I'm going to share with you exactly what the latest awesome is...

Now a lot of you know Danie as the big chief of the Community Relations team, but I doubt half of you truly know how much of a hard worker Danie is. Not only does she have to look after us lively lot (and by “lot” have you seen how big the CV team is?!), but she works on copious behind the scenes projects on deviantART, making this place just a little bit more devious and better for all us Artists out there in the big dA community. Not only this, but she has to have a life at the same time!
Now we have decided to use Danie’s birthday for three things:
1.       To wish her a very happy birthday (of course)

How did you first discover deviantART?
:spank: I was looking at art online when I was young, and saw `loish's work, it eventually led me to deviantART. I lurked for a while, then eventually joined!
What was it about dA that made you want to stay?
:spank: I wanted to post my artwork... however once I discovered chats, I learned about GMs (now CV's) and Daily Deviation suggesting. I had and continue to have the loving support that keeps me here, along with my ability to find and collect beautiful artwork- Tis it is all about the art!

What is the story behind your username?
:spank: At one point I wanted to do debate in high school, but I've gone off to do other things. I was thinking of good user names and was playing with a random word generator. It came up with the word Topicality, a word I remembered was used in debate. It's used in debate when one is g

Of course, the easiest way to get points is by going to the Points page to simply buy them.

But not everyone has the means to do so - plus, 'easiest' isn't always the most fun, right?! If you're willing to work for it, there are ways to get points without it costing you anything. For example, you can sell prints and Premium Content (if you already have access to it),  stalk ~llamatrade, do commissions, set up a donation pool and participate in contests!
