I want your dA related news :eager:

As you may have noticed earlier, I've started doing monthly Community Relations updates, where I feature official news from dA (from the Community Relations team in particular), but even more important,  what's been going on in the community - that's you! :) Do you run/know of a contest or project about stamps or CSS? Do you have a group for dA improvement and suggestions? Have you noticed a trend in the memes or adoptables community? Or combinations of these?:dummy: Let me know! I may want to feature it, or watch the deviant/group to stay in touch with them :happybounce:

CSS3 Updates

I haven't seen much about this in the site updates, but I have been told that after alpha testing some CSS3 in :devdevbug: for a while, you can now use a number of these new CSS properties etc. in your journal and gallery skins. Let me know if you think I missed any ^^;

I haven't exactly mastered them myself yet so I won't try to teach you what they do :B But here's a list with some things you should be able to use right now;
:bulletblue: rgba() for background, background-color and color rules
:bulletblue: counter-increment, counter-reset
:bulletblue: content
:bulletblue: * and > as selector
:bulletblue: attribute selectors (example: a[href] as selector affects all <a> tags that have the href attribute, thanks kemayo).
:bulletblue: box-shadow and border-radius
:bulletblue: not part of CSS3 in particular, but you can use /*comments*/ now too :D *edit* Note, only works between selectors (thanks to kemayo for pointing this out).

This skin

Isn't it awesome? :happybounce: Try hoovering some of those white bubbles and see what happens :giggle: You'll also find the link to the skin to use it yourself.

The content pseudo-element was not working when I tried in my new feature-O-matic journal skin here [link]

But anyways, that's a great news! :la:

It would be great if DA includes the transition and transform properties of CSS3 too! :aww:
