So what does it take to become a Senior? That's a question many have asked and have never really been able to get a straight answer on. Some have gained Seniority as a thank you for their time spent as a Volunteer, or to recognise their contribution to a particular project or collaborative action. Some have gained Seniority because of their community spirit, providing help and assistance to many other deviants and taking time out to promote the work of others in the community.
Some people have received Seniority because of their artistic endevours, having a positive influence on their peers by sharing resources, providing constructive criticism and by being a voice that stands out above the many others who deviate to be recognised

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly a year can fly by. I've made it a practice over the years to sit back and reflect on the year, what went well, what didn't and where I'd like to see the new year go. A year can bring a lot of lessons and without reflection it's hard to ensure that you've taken away everything important from it. I apply this personally and to deviantART and it's that time again

The Stars of dAr - `Mirz123The Stars of dAr is a series where I interview one member of the deviantART Related (dAr) community each time, about personal and dA related matters. For today we have `Mirz123! She creates fantasic stamps, sometimes fun and silly, but also often with an important and profound message, and always in her recognisable style. She's also an enthusiastic community member in many aspects, and can be found in many corners of the community. But enough about her from me - I'll hand the floor to Mirz herself

As written by `ginkgografix in the Guide to the deviantART Related Gallery, The browser scripts and extensions category is for scripts that add new functions to (or modify current functions of) deviantART.com. Commonly these scripts are installed through Greasemonkey, but some are designed to install through web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox. Keep in mind that this category is for functioning scripts, not just ideas for scripts.

Paid Name ChangesDear deviantArt Staff,
I've been virgino0owhore for nine years. While I understand I can just create a new account if I want a new name, I feel that this is a waste. I would have to move every piece of work over to this new account, re-favorite over 3,000 favorites and rewatch my current watch list. It's simply not worth it all because of 14 letters.
Not to mention, I lead a club against name wasting, making getting a new account hypocritical. It seems more practical to allow members to pay to change their name. This prevents the wasting of names that can't be removed because they have history on them. It also gives deviantArt a new revenue source.
Naturally you couldn't choose a taken name but, the act of paying for a name change is common in internet society and amongst gaming communities as well. The price varies but is usually around 15 U.S. dollars, and whatever that may translate into.

dA related has a nice community full of fun people and helpful deviations! Here’s some nice places and people to check out for everyone who’s interested in it

#deviantART-Related - an unofficial group that is about the entire dA related gallery. Updates, news, and of course submissions of all types dA related

#dARelated is the official chatroom for the gallery. Here, official and unofficial chat events and games take place, and outside of those you can often find people in there too for a general chat.

If you want to learn CSS to create journal skins, ~eCSSercise is a great space to learn!

`ginkgografix has been mentioned before – she has done a lot of work for the dA related gallery, providing great deviations in many of the devious categories as well as resources for people interested in it! Her previously mentioned Overview of dA related is like a treasure chest for anyone interested in this gallery and community.

^bradleysays is an enthusiastic member of the community, running dA related groups, interviews, and news updates with features. He is soon bringing his article series "A Week in dA Related" back!
