Beginners Tutorial: Buy and Donate PointsIn three simple parts:

1. To buy points you need a deviantART account. Log in to yours or create one as below.
B) Buy Points
1. Go with the mouse over Shop in the top bar and select points.
2. On the Points page, click "+Points" on the amount of points you want.
:note: You can choose a combination of different amounts. Want to buy $45 worth of points? Choose '2,000' once and '800' twice.:note: If you want to remove something you added, click the grey "-" next to the green "+Points".:note: You can change the currency in your settings.
3. When you're done, hit the yellow "Checkout" button to go to the checkout page. The first step is to review your order. If everything's ok, hit 'Continue'.

I gotta question- How come sometimes when try I go on "help" then I can't find it? I've tried typing it in the chat search, but nothing came up.

The #help chatroom you mean? By default the +chat page only shows chatrooms with 2+ people in it :) So if there are no helpers available (and only MNBot is in it), then the help chat won't show up.
And no it will not show up on search, because #help is a featured chatroom so when there's 2 or more people it should show in the same area as #devart and such, rather than under "All Chatrooms":D

You can always still access it with the direct link [link] which you can also find in the full Need Help? thread in the Forum ^^
