:? What it does
This fades out the emoticons in comment signatures on deviantART. I made this because some people thought it would go better with the new signature style dA just implemented.
(To see what this script does, compare image above with the 'before' image here [link] )

:eager: Requires
- Either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome
- The stylish add on.
Edit: Reportedly this works on Safari [link] and Opera [link] [link] too :la:

 Created by
^kingmancheng, ^pica-ae and ^namenotrequired. Thanks buddies :highfive:

:whisper: For clarification:
- User styles work in your browser to change the appearance of (some of) the pages you view. So installing this does not effect how others see your signature, but how you see everyone's signatures.
- deviantART changed the way signatures look. This script only changes how the emoticons look in them. Let dA know what you think of the new signatures here: [link]

:reading: More info
Among other awesome things, deviantART recently announced in a Site Update that, at popular request, they have changed the style of signatures to make them less prominent and distracting from the comment :#1: Which is great, I think, but some people found the emoticons in it too distracting. ^kingmancheng, ^pica-ae and I discussed this and realised it was easy to change for those who want to :dummy:
(:Byes, we need to collaborate on what could be a single line of code, don't judge :paranoid:)

The code would have to be a bit more complicated to support older versions of IE as well - then again as far as I'm aware IE doesn't have a version of stylish (or another way to add custom CSS to pages you browse) in the first place.:B Let me know if I'm wrong!

Edit: thousands of views and to the most popular page in 4 hours? Craziness! :la: Thanks everyone, I hope you'll enjoy it

Well, I've always thought the signatures seemed somewhat distracting, especially when they are a huge wall of text!
And to be (originally) the same size and boldness as the main comment is a little confusing, and i've often mistaken a signature as part of the actual comment a user was making.
But this add on, for google chrome and firefox users, is amazingly tidy and does not distract from the main comment. (In fact, it makes the comment the sole focus)
The signature is still clear enough to be able to read, and the font appears smaller and slightly fainter, which are both great factors of this add-on!

Installation is very simple. On the website you are directed to, just a click of a button (at the top of the page) and it will add to the bar at the top of your browser, letting you know that 1 add-on is being used and is installed. You can easily disable, delete or edit this add-on, if you prefer not to use it, and quite simply it's gone in an instant!

I can't really think of a downside, besides for people who enjoy reading people's signatures and, who want a larger font for that to do so - (maybe for those with not good eyesight)

Overall, I'd say this is a "no fuss", and excellent add-on, which i'd recommend to google chrome/ firefox users (and those who want to read comments only with no distractions!)

This is my first critique, so sorry if there's some errors! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a…" width="19" height="19" alt="^^;" title="Sweating a little..."/>
