Everyone around is glad
for eachother and yourself
Reminds me of the days I had
a teacher who often said
Pair up, form a row,
hold your partner's hand,
keep it there, don't let go
until you hear my command.
for eachother and yourself
Reminds me of the days I had
a teacher who often said
Pair up, form a row,
hold your partner's hand,
keep it there, don't let go
until you hear my command.
Just a short & simple jumpy poem I'm curious if some of my friends understand what this is about Cos it's got quite an unusual story behind it.
Starting out as a couple of lines from "Wordless" (the final version of which can be found through this [link] ), I thought it didnt really fit so i removed it, but I saved it seperately and finished it later. It then became another sonnet. But the last lines of it didn't fit the first part well either. So I removed the sextet, and it's only now that i realise the poem doesn't really need more than it is now, and it just wouldn't fit as Sonnet, i think it works better in a short form like it is now
So here's the result Please tell me what you think
It's basically about how more and more of my friends seem to pair up and go out together ^^
