In three simple parts:
A) deviantART Account
B) Buy Points
1. Go with the mouse over '
Shop' in the top bar and select '
points'.
2. On the Points page, click "+Points" on the amount of points you want.
You can choose a combination of different amounts. Want to buy $45 worth of points? Choose '2,000' once and '800' twice.
If you want to remove something you added, click the grey "-" next to the green "+Points".
You can change the currency in your
settings.
3. When you're done, hit the yellow "Checkout" button to go to the checkout page. The first step is to review your order. If everything's ok, hit 'Continue'.
4. Verify payment details. You can pay with Credit Card or Paypal (I personally always use Paypal to use my debit card instead of my credit card). This process depends a bit on your payment choice and details so I won't discuss this or include screenshots - if you need help, see the
Ordering Support section of the +
faq.
Step 3 of the 'checkout' is "Select Shipping Method and Place Your Order". As a virtual good, points don't need to be shipped and you can proceed here right away and finish your order. C) Donate Points
1. On the page of the person you want to donate points to, such as

2. Choose "
Give Points" to get this pop up:
3. Fill in the amount of points to donate and include a message (optional). If it's your first time you may need to enter your password. Also make sure the boxes below are ticked - you can then click "Give" and reach this glorious screen that says you're done!
